My passion is to ensure good science informs good practice for productive and sustainable landscapes through strong leadership and management. I am a determined and persistent leader, driven to achieve in collaborative environments; a leader, change manager and team player; and a strategic thinker. My personal integrity and respect for people is paramount. I have over 18 years experience as a successful non-Executive Director, Executive Director and CEO of a range of agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management and science organisations.

And I manage to maintain a balanced perspective both personally and professionally, finding time for people, and especially my family.
